In 1992, Dark Horse had Frank Miller and Walter Simonson create a four-issue comic that connects the worlds of Robocop and The Terminator. It seems the developments that made the robotic police officer possible led¹ to the future machine revolution, and he must be protected. The story borrows heavily from Terminator 2, but with Robocop in the central role, and it features time-travel forward to 2029.
