Frankenstein's Monster-- in particular, Universal Studios version, first played by Boris Karloff in make-up by Jack Pierce-- has become one of the most recognizable icons in the world. The monster and his doppelgangers have made more comic-book appearances than I can count. Archie has met Frankenfolk a few times, including this Karloff-like butler from Archie #125.. Since Abbott and Costello met the licensed Universal Studios creature in the movies, it's not surprising that their Charlton Comics incarnations would likewise have encountered some version of the character.
