| During John Byrne's tenure at the Fantastic Four, Reed and Sue went underground for a time, living incognito in suburbia. Their neighbours, seen here in #276, might seem familiar to long-time fans of the funnies. They're realistic knock-offs of Hi and Lois, the Lockhorns (I think) the Bumsteads, Herb Woodley (Blondie and Dagwood's neighbor), Skeezix, Henry Mitchell (Dennis the Menace's dad), Joe Palooka and Dick Tracy (on the couch, with an unidentified redhead). | ||||
